Iluminação pública revisitada

Noutro dia no Parque das Nações, no Passeio das Tágides, a alameda de pinheiros à beira-rio entre o lago do Oceanário e a Torre Vasco da Gama, reparei numa nova forma de candeeiro para iluminação de caminhos pedonais usando tecnologia LED.

Conforme previra em Junho/2015 em “Iluminação pública, agora com LEDs” existiam grandes possibilidades no projecto de novos candeeiros usando a tecnologia LED, considerando as características muito inovadoras desta nova tecnologia de iluminação.

Fiz uma série breve de candeeiros de iluminação de caminhos pedonais, usados em parques e em ruas estreitas de bairros antigos, numerando-os por ordem cronológica para facilidade de referência.

 O candeeiro 1 é um clássico, adaptado para lâmpadas de incandescência ou de vapor de mercúrio, protegem a lâmpada das intempéries e do excesso de humidade e a parte superior do invólucro é transparente, talvez para iluminar as fachadas das casas em ruas estreitas e as copas das árvores nos parques. Ainda subsistem muitos exemplares deste tipo de candeeiro em Lisboa, presumo que a CML segue a política de ir substituindo os candeeiros com problemas ou a um ritmo compatível com a dotação das equipas de manutenção existentes.

No candeeiro 2 noto preocupação para evitar parte da poluição luminosa criada pela iluminação pública das cidades, ao mesmo tempo que se poupa provavelmente na potência eléctrica necessária, já muito reduzida com os LEDs, que gastam cerca de um quinto da energia necessária para lâmpadas de incandescência. 

No candeeiro 3 parecem ter ignorado a desejável opacidade do topo, continuando a enviar luz para o ar. 

Os candeeiros seguintes 4 e 5 mostram que os projectos 2 e 3 foram conservadores no desenho do habitáculo, limitando-se a substituir provavelmente o vidro por plástico dado que a fonte luminosa irradia menos calor. Possivelmente constatou-se que os desenhos 2 e 3 mantinham a vulnerabilidade a vandalismos que serão mais frequentes em parques desertos a altas horas da noite. Nos Olivais perduram um ou outro candeeiro dos tipos 2 e 3 mas a maioria foi substituída pelo tipo 5. No Parque das Nações não me recordo da iluminação usada no Passeio das Tágides mas no Caminho das Gaivotas, mais a Norte e facilmente localizável no Google Maps, os candeeiros iniciais com lâmpadas clássicas, tão bonitos que eram  

 

antes de serem todos partidos pelos vândalos de serviço, foram todos substituídos por outros que julgo serem do tipo 4.

Mostro a seguir detalhe da parte superior dos candeeiros usando LEDs. Será mais fácil proteger os LEDs com vidros pequenos mas muito robustos

A maior parte que vi tinham apenas 3 fontes luminosas mas um dos candeeiros tinha 4 e será fácil usar também 6 fontes, conforme necessidade do local.

Tília nos Olivais

 

Estamos na época da floração das tílias, nos Olivais sente-se muito o cheiro das flores e as tílias revelam-se aos observadores mais distraídos, não só pelo cheiro mas também pela presença de imensas flores nestas árvores que abundam na cidade de Lisboa.

Gostei de ver esta tília em 4/Jun/2023 nos Olivais,

 

com um conjunto de rebentos de ramos rente ao chão, que vi também em tílias jovens na avenida de Roma, que não aparecem nesta parte da árvore em exemplares mais idosos e que presumo que sejam podados pelos jardineiros quando for oportuno.

No dia 7/Jun passei outra vez aqui e como o céu estava azul fotografei a mesma árvore, dum ângulo ligeiramente diferente

 

Talvez prefira a primeira foto, sem a escultura que parece um totem índio por acabar e outros pormenores distractivos como os tabalhadores da EMEL a recolherem bicicletas para manutenção

Deste post sobre tílias em flor que fiz há 8 anos e da informação que o Paulo Araújo dos "Dias com Árvores" então me deu, presumo que se trata duma Tilia tomentosa (ou Tília-prateada), a mais comum em Lisboa conforme refere o Guia Ilustrado de Vinte e cinco árvores de Lisboa, que referi neste post mas cujo link para o referido guia está desactualizado. 

Como os sítios institucionais estão em remodelação constante os links que se deixam para esses sítios vão dar frequentemente a sítios inexistentes. Agora googlei (Vinte e cinco árvores de Lisboa) e fui dar a um sítio com o .pdf desse guia. Não deixo o link porque, como acabo de dizer, não vale a pena.

Os cartazes inaceitáveis

Autores de cartazes com uma caricatura de um ser humano com lápis espetados nos olhos deviam ser objecto de inquérito sobre discurso de ódio.

Os organizadores e os participantes de manifestações de professores com cartazes desse tipo não merecem respeito.

A importância do juiz que julga o caso

Usando o ChatGPT

 

Conforme referi em post recente sobre problema com impressora, na sequência de tantas informações sobre as actuais capacidades extraordinárias da Inteligência Artificial decidi experimentar o ChatGPT como auxiliar na resolução do problema referido.

Previamente tinha elaborado alguns textos em inglês, porque há mais informação na net nesta língua do que em qualquer outra, para questionar grupos de discussão da Microsoft e da HP (Hewlett-Packard) ou "feedback hubs" e aproveitei-os para descrever o problema.

Antigamente os problemas resolviam-se lendo os Manuais de Utilização e/ou tentando localizar no universo dos conhecidos alguém com uma sugestão válida. Actualmente fazem-se  várias pequisas na net usando o Google, que me deram algumas sugestões para resolver o problema.Os grupos de discussão têm algumas boas sugestões mas estas não são a maioria, gastando-se bastante tempo nestas pesquisas.

A resposta do ChatGPT à minha pergunta continha as mesmas propostas de solução que eu identificara através das pesquisas na net, talvez num inglês de melhor qualidade, e ainda referia uma possível "Disabling driver signature enforcement" que me pareceu prometedora mas que se revelou, além de difícil execução, ser inútil.

Mesmo assim apreciei a capacidade de reacção aos meus reparos às soluções propostas. Resumindo, pareceu-me que o ChatGPT poderia poupar algum tempo em relação a pesquisas usando o Google, fazendo um bom resumo das sugestões existentes na net.

Porém, o ChatGPT não detectou na net uma solução para o problema nem igualou a sabedoria de um colega que me disse que provavelmente se tratava de um problema introduzido num dos numerosos upgrades do Windows e que também provavelmente seria resolvido num upgrade futuro, o que veio a acontecer cerca de 7 meses depois da detecção, conforme disse no post seguinte ao que referi acima.

Para eventual consulta passo a descrever o diálogo com o ChatGPT. O meu texto está a verde, o do ChatGPT a laranja:
